The albums from the 80s & 90s film archive capture some of the ephemeral and transient moments that surround us all and often go unnoticed in our day-to-day lives. Revered artistic techniques – such as those driven by the Magnum Photos members and the legendary Picture Post Photographers – gave inspiration and influence to some of the style and content but the simple communication and documentation of the moments and situations themselves was always the paramount aim throughout.

The more recent snapshots continue to document and observe random travel scenes and those encountered from general street life that are often hidden in plain sight.

…Giclée printed for black and white on Hahnemüle Pearl 285gsm paper, or if in colour, as C‑types on Fuji Matt. Printed colours will vary slightly from the on-screen previews due to the different media used – all images from the 80s and 90s sections have been transferred from original 35mm or 6x7cm analogue black and white film negatives for digital reproduction.

All stated print sizes include a 1" minimum white border around the image area itself which allows for a beveled window mount or for archive‑mounting.
The recommended 12"x16" print size is perfectly suited for standard 16"x20" frames – mount and frame not supplied. Other print sizes are available for sale if listed.
